Ford's Response to the Illegal Dumping

Yes, the City knew they had to have a permit to dump garbage on the ground. Harrison claims they had verbal permission to transfer garbage from a truck to a dumpster. They knew they could not dump this garbage on the ground then come back and load it in dumpster later. TDEC confirmed that!
Honestly, I doubt any Alderman knew this was happening and I seriously doubt Ford knew it. It was Harrison's cover up, now Ford is covering Harrison's ass.

The County now has collection stations for garbage. Why can't the City just buy some big dumpsters to allow people within the City to bring there large items year round and put them in the dumpsters. This would eliminate the Amnesty Week all together and help make this town looks a little better. When I was Chair of EDC, we made sure there were no Industry visits during Amnesty Week, because Pulaski looks like a dump during theset weeks.
